Product Engineer – Remote Jobs
Job Description
Job Type: Product Engineer from home
Location: Arizona work from home
Company: TheoremOne
Position Description:
Working directly with the client and as a member of one of TheoremOne’s small, close-knit product discovery teams, you will play a key role in guiding discovery efforts for a variety of engagements. To identify and reduce engineering-related risks or complexity in the product, you will work closely with the design, research, and product team members to anchor the problem understanding and ideation process around what is technically possible.
HOW YOU PLANS TO DO IT
- You will work closely with the customer to design a high-level, clear way forward that our development team can use to lead a fruitful engagement through a collaborative, iterative process.
- In the end, using a combination of the following, you’ll assist the team in delivering a validated roadmap for a product that provides actual value for the customer and establishes a clear route for a TheoremOne development team to successfully deliver on:
- Identify any constraints that might affect engineering efforts, architecture, integration points, and value in collaboration with the client and other stakeholders.
- Use a variety of programming languages, platforms, and tools to help with user research, problem comprehension, risk reduction, and idea direction
- Build and support prototypes in conjunction with user research to verify solution assumptions, and monitor and support testing to ensure reliable results.
- Work closely with product specialists, user researchers, and UX/UI designers every day to find a solution that is technically sound, commercially viable, and appealing to the target audience.
- To enable quick iteration on both low and high fidelity prototypes, proofs of concept, and experimentation for software discovery, work toward creating and maintaining reusable frameworks and libraries.
- Peer discovery team members should be advised and challenged with technical input to keep ideation on track and realistic. They should also take into account crucial feedback from peers in design and product to guarantee the product concept is desirable and viable.
ABOUT YOU
- You are aware of how crucial software product discovery is. You place more weight on learning than intuition, problem characterization than solutions, and direct user feedback than presumptions. You are aware of the advantages this procedure provides a delivery crew.
- You should have a strong interest in experimenting and comprehending user behavior and needs in relation to client and customer needs and business needs. You think that they are typically interchangeable.
- Working with a variety of clients over time and learning about new technology and business sectors is something you like.
- You may prioritize and reduce risk when constructing a product by converting the requirements into actual engineering plans or roadmaps.
- With cross-functional collaborators, such as but not limited to those in product, design, research, data science, and the client, you have the capacity to create clarity and cut through ambiguity while fostering trust.
- You are passionate about or comprehend the value of good UI and UX design.
- You take pleasure in your work at the nexus of product, engineering, and design.
- In a self-managed process, you flourish. You have the ability to independently set deadlines, follow plans, and operate under a variety of restrictions.
- You are aware that success is not announced; rather, it is found. You think that experiments, proofs-of-concept, and prototypes are inherently flawed
- driven by a desire to comprehend novel platforms, programming languages, and ideas as market trends change
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of expertise in implementation and delivery positions in software development (SaaS, web, mobile) and/or technical prototyping
- strong background in advising and working directly with numerous customers and stakeholders at once
- Deep awareness of the services and products that the various cloud platforms offer as out-of-the-box options, including pipelines and products. AWS or Azure are preferred, although any cloud is suitable.
- Having experience working with a variety of sizes and types of organizations, from seed-stage startups to large, enterprise organizations, and having an understanding of the various constraints involved, you can effectively communicate technical problems and solutions to both large and small audiences while also educating customers of all sizes about the value proposition of cloud computing.
- a thorough knowledge of different agile and lean approaches, with an emphasis on the value of product discovery and dual-track agile with a single, collaborative team.
- having experience with UI development, interacting with designers, and using design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
- knowledge of backend development using Ruby, NodeJS, or other related languages
- strong knowledge with implementing products across a variety of combinations of software and system design, architecture, and database concepts
- You take pleasure in continuing your education in areas such as product engineering, product business, and product design in order to create holistic goods.
