Position Description:

Ibotta is looking for a Product Designer to join our creative team and help us achieve our vision of Making Every Purchase Rewarding. Ibotta’s product design team collaborates across departments to assist millions of shoppers save time and money. You will work with product managers, UX researchers, UX writers, and engineers to define the design of our browser extension and visualize new concepts as a Product Designer. You’ll be involved in every step of the product development process, from conceptualizing the next new innovation to fine-tuning pixels just before launch.

What you will be doing is as follows:

  • From concept to launch, lead the design of new features and products.
  • Create experiences that are both simple and elegant for mobile and web.
  • To build comprehensive experiences, collaborate with UX Content and Creative Design.
  • Effectively communicate ideas and logic to a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Give and receive constructive feedback to improve quality and effectiveness.
  • Share your knowledge through reviews and demos to demonstrate the importance of good design.
  • Contribute to the development of a collaborative, human-centered design process.
  • Use current design patterns and engage with design and engineering to create new patterns as needed.

We are searching for the following:

  • 2+ years of UX design experience for a consumer-facing product or service
  • A bachelor’s degree in UX, Graphic, or Industrial Design; Psychology; Human Computer Interaction; Computer Programming; or a similar discipline is necessary.
  • Direct experience designing, developing, and delivering high-quality web products
  • Outstanding design abilities with a portfolio displaying your work and design process
  • Design adaptability to a multitude of platforms and form factors
  • Excellent communication abilities and the ability to convey design decisions clearly
  • Capability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced and uncertain setting
  • Takes the initiative to learn more about UX and industry best practices.
  • A strong desire to understand users and empathize with their concerns.
