Position Description:

We’re looking for a bright and creative Product Designer to join our team and help us create the best-in-class restaurant hospitality platform. To launch digital solutions that alter our industry, you’ll work directly with colleagues and stakeholders in Engineering, Product, and other groups across the firm. And you’ll be part of a small but nimble Design team that believes in an iterative and collaborative design approach with attention to detail and concern for design execution, always looking to validate concepts with our end-users.

WHO ARE YOU:

• 3-4 years of experience creating digital products and a solid portfolio demonstrating polish in execution, difficult interaction design problems, and knowledge of native iOS and Responsive Web patterns are required.
• Take on difficult interaction and service design problems, always balancing data-driven decision making with intuition.
• Using creative research methodologies and collaborative brainstorming, investigate translating new prospects that strategically connect with our business goals. Ultimately, influencing the product roadmap.
• Working together with engineering, product management, and customer success to build high-quality, meaningful experiences is preferred.
• Strong verbal and writing communication skills are required, as well as the ability to synthesize design input and articulate “why.”
• Use a wide arsenal, ranging from simple whiteboarding and hand-sketching through Figma, Principle, and anything else.
• You are self-motivated and share accountability for the team’s success and advancement.
• You have strong opinions but a low ego; you push yourself and your team to get the best results possible while accepting feedback and constructive criticism with humility.
• Sharing our enthusiasm for restaurants and want to help us promote it.
