WHAT OUR GOALS WERE:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced independent eCommerce photo retoucher with a love for producing excellent, eye-catching photos. Our ideal applicant is efficient, focused on the details, and has a good eye for improving product images to uphold our brand standards. We are looking for someone who will flourish in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative atmosphere to work directly with our Creative team.

Responsibilities:

• Work together for around 15–25 hours a week with our creative team and photographers to retouch product still life and on-figure photographs for our eCommerce platform.
• Ensure that all product categories have the same level of image quality, color accuracy, and style.
• Retouch and improve photos to ensure they remain true to their natural look and satisfy the brand’s aesthetic requirements.
• Rename images and merchandise in accordance with the given brand specifications.
• Determine files on the internal network with accuracy and adhere to a thorough methodology
• Work effectively under pressure, prioritizing and handling several projects at once.
• To get the intended result, provide constructive criticism and maintain efficient communication with the creative team.
• File administration
• Keep abreast of retouching techniques and industry trends to improve the overall quality of our product photographs.

Requirements:

• A solid portfolio with before-and-after examples and at least a year of experience working as a freelance eCommerce photo retoucher
• proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and a firm grasp of picture enhancement, masking, and color correction methods
• Maintaining the brand’s visual identity requires close attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Capacity to operate both individually and cooperatively in a fast-paced, remote setting without compromising overall image quality
• Proficiency in communication and adaptability to criticism Possessing knowledge of Capture One is highly advantageous
• Knowledge of the rules and standards for photos in eCommerce
• demonstrated flexibility in a fast-paced work environment when utilizing new tools and procedures.
• To properly manage and prioritize picture retouching activities, one needs to possess strong organizational abilities.
• It is advantageous to have knowledge of a variety of product categories, such as jewelry, clothing, and accessories.
• The role will be remote (living and having the right to work in the United States).
