Position Description:

Principal Duties
- Weekly payroll cycle for more than 250 employees (both exempt and non-exempt, including commission payments)
- Benefits should be distributed through high-touch interactions with employees.
- Work with the benefits broker to ensure that the benefits files and paycheck deductions are accurate.
- From a systems standpoint, lead the annual open enrollment process.
- Oversee the internal LOA Procedure (intake and liaise between third party vendor and Resident employees)
- Administer the BambooHR Policy Library, updating and auditing as needed.
- Conduct quarterly compliance audits to ensure that all necessary employee documentation are signed and kept on file.
- Make salary statements for new hiring, promotions, and changes.
- Perform a comp study for open positions, promotions, and adjustments.
- As needed, additional salary, perks, and compliance work
- Lead the internal Charitable Contributions Program, ensuring that charities receiving gifts from residents are paid on time.
- Lead the Student Associate Program’s recruitment and onboarding.
- As needed, general recruiting assistance
- Assist important business stakeholders in providing performance feedback.
- More HR initiatives and assignments will be assigned as needed.
Knowledge and Experience
- A minimum of eight years’ experience in human resources, ideally in a commercial, private sector/start-up environment.
- Ability to operate alone with limited supervision
- Knowledge of Human Operations policies and processes, as well as their actual application and best practices.
- Curiosity, engagement, and a desire to take on new tasks
- Capable of developing business partnerships with key business stakeholders at all levels through high-touch, visible HR services.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as are problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to retain complete discretion and calm in potentially stressful situations.
- Excellent administrative abilities
