Position Description:

You will give technical expertise on a crucial position involving network transformation, network outages, service difficulties, network optimization, and maintenance as a Network Operations Engineer. You will be in charge of providing assistance in order to keep things running smoothly and to improve the way our consumers live, work, and play. We are a very visible Operations environment that handles troubleshooting, configuration updates, drive difficulties, and other associated tasks.

Duties:

  • Optimizing, debugging, and maintaining network systems and applications in order to determine overall system availability and performance.
  • Assessing network coverage to identify gaps, offering recommendations to improve coverage, and assisting with implementation.
  • Conducting network event triage, fault isolation, and remediation.
  • Creating, driving, and updating problem-tracking tickets through numerous platforms, as well as continuously improving business operations.
  • Issues will be escalated to the appropriate internal/external engineer teams for resolution.
  • Routine, preventative maintenance on designated cell sites in order to discover potential issues during general site inspections.
  • Climbing stairs and ladders, working from elevated positions, lifting and carrying goods weighing up to 65 pounds, pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting/bending, and crawling, squatting, or kneeling in confined spaces are all physical requirements of the job.

You’ll need the following items:

  • An associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience is required.
  • Three years of relevant job experience is required.
  • A current driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel for up to 25% of the time.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays in rotational shifts.
  • Ability to accomplish the job’s physical requirements, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Capable of reporting to the allocated territory within one hour to offer coverage.
