The Operations Coordinator in this position organizes and coordinates operations and logistics pertaining to events produced by ESPN using technical expertise and real-world experience. Through training and observation, this person is expected to become familiar with the fundamental responsibilities of other departmental staff members and the tasks of the Operations Producer. This position may require travel to distant locations on occasion for different sporting events in order to assist Operations Producers in setting up and coordinating on-site operations and logistics, liaising with crew members, production teams, and technical teams to adhere to set timelines and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the operations management in Bristol and elsewhere by providing assistance.
  • Keep event personnel lists up to date, check that the start and end dates of the job are accurate, and work with the crewing department to ensure that the right people are employed.
  • Make the Operations hotel list, keep it up to date, and collaborate with Travel to verify its accuracy.
  • Whenever necessary, place orders for supplies and equipment. for example, VIZ, C&S, ART, etc.
  • Overseeing and performing office tasks at distant business sites.
  • Obtain and handle invoices.
  • Update the I Drive with new financial tracking records. To keep the Program Finance Department informed of location costs and budgetary details important to remote events, interface with them.

Requirements:

  • Examine independent contractors for entry-level remote support positions. arranging for the hiring of local utility services.
  • Make sure all new employees and contractors complete corporate documentation accurately and help it go through the system so that it may be paid appropriately.
  • Help with shipping arrangements between merchants and distant places.
  • Obtain and uphold a deep knowledge of technical tools and systems.

Preferred Requirements

  • Help the operations producer with remote maintenance and survey dissemination.
  • Must be willing to answer calls on weekends, nights, and during business hours.
  • Ability to manage day-of-air remote problems while maintaining a balance between the daily workload.

Education: Diploma from high school

The salary range for this remote position, which takes into account different geographic regions, is $52,398.00 to $70,290.00 annually. Internal equity will be taken into consideration when determining the basic pay that is actually offered, and it may also change based on the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, abilities, and experience, among other things. Depending on the level and job offered, the remuneration package may include a bonus and/or long-term incentive units in addition to the complete range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
