Position Description:
You will be assisting our flagship 5G Fixed Wireless Access customers by focusing on 5G fixed wireless access troubleshooting. While driving 5G fixed wireless access network issues to resolution, you will obtain an expert level grasp of wireless network call flow, operations, and network tools. In this role, you will collaborate with other committed, highly experienced team members to provide the fastest and most dependable network experience. Responsibilities:
- Optimizing, debugging, and maintaining network equipment in order to improve its performance.
- Maintaining network performance and efficiency by adhering to company- and industry-wide standard directions.
- By expressing technical data in clear and concise status updates during network events, I am able to provide quick and accurate network technical help to leadership and external teams.
- Issues will be escalated to the appropriate internal/external engineer teams for resolution.
- Investigating network and device performance trends to identify abnormalities or other events of interest, delving deep to determine root cause, and driving to resolution.
- 5G proactive/reactive trouble ticket queue support.
- Chat support for ATEX/NRB installers.
- Assisting with the Care Network Health Check conversation.
- Requests for network testing and troubleshooting are supported.
- Training delivery (ex. Troubleshooting techniques, best practices, network flows, etc.).
- Finding chances to use automation technologies to take care of everyday repetitive duties.
- Finding chances for continual alarm improvement, proactive detection/notification, device/software advancements, and bug fixes.
- Creating and sustaining cross-functional connections with NRB business partners such as Care, Network Assurance, System Performance, Product Development, Maintenance Engineering, Device Lab, Marketing, Customer Experience, Network Implementation, and suppliers.

You’ll need the following items:
- An associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience is required.
- Three years of relevant job experience is required.
- Readiness to work a rotating schedule (shifts) including weekends and holidays as needed by the company.
- Willingness to travel for up to 25% of the time.
It’s even better if you have at least one of the following:
- Telephony switching, data communications, and network routers are examples of telecommunications equipment and technology.
- Expertise in computer support, such as troubleshooting PC hardware and configurations.
- The ability to troubleshoot and fix IP network issues at the physical, data connection, and network layers.
- Service, network device, knowledge base solution, and system monitoring tool expertise.
- Understanding of IP communications equipment and technology.
- Familiarity with scriptwriting (ex. Python).
- Certifications for networks (CCNA, CCNP, or similar).
- Capability to translate complex thoughts and explain them succinctly and simply.
- Expertise of all Network disciplines including Operations, Engineering and System Performance.
- Understanding of routing protocols as well as knowledge with cloud computing and virtualization ideas (SDN/NFV).
