an individual contributor with a focus on developing and maintaining specifically designed automation for packaging Security Software agent, Security Configuration, and Active Directory automation. The ideal applicant will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of the support processes and guidelines for server build configuration and deployment. They will work closely with the Workstation and Core Services team. As a team member with product managers and product owners, this candidate will provide automation that supports availability, compliance, and repeatability.
Pay Scale
The usual pay scale for this position is as follows:
- At least 90,000
- The most: 180,000
Required credentials
- 5+ years of expertise writing automation-related programming.

- Ability to deal with geographically scattered technical teams, including remote resources in the US and offshore, and the capacity to prioritize work effectively.
- The capacity to evaluate the current environment, offer visibility, comprehend pain points and restrictions, define priorities for, and take the lead on, changes to structures, mindsets, roles, procedures, and the software supply chain in support of emerging business needs.
- Ability to multitask and architect for simplicity, scale, and agility
- By restricting access to modifications and reviewing changes through the release or change management process, you can ensure that the production environment is protected.
- Ensure rigorous team adherence to the process with regard to the requirements for Audit and Compliance. Ensure compliance with the applicable quality management system process.
- Build trusting connections with Ops & Support, QA, Development, and Infrastructure colleagues in order to increase system availability and stability through automation.
- Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities. Must be open-minded and capable of working well in a group setting.
- Motivated and driven to look for ways to automate and optimize processes in order to increase quality and shorten the SW delivery life-cycle.
- Knowledge of deployment automation concepts and configuration management systems (Ansible, Chef, Microsoft Endpoint Confi guration Manager, Terraform).
- Application deployment and deployment of applications experience.
- Utilize Jenkins and CI tools to automate the delivery of software (build, test, deploy).
- Fundamental administrative skills for Linux/UNIX and Windows.
- Extensive experience configuring AD groups, security groups, and users within Active Directory.
- Knowledge about satellites.
- Working knowledge of best practices for configuration, build, deployment, and release management
- Putting together documentation on the configuration and practices of automation.
- Must have SAFe Agile experience.
- Understanding of scripting languages like Python and Bash.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate well in a team environment
Education: either a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
