Position Description:

The Warehouse Marketing Support Coordinator will assist the Costco Car Program in a variety of capacities in order to raise member awareness and streamline program operations. This individual will collaborate closely with assigned warehouses, dealer contacts, and Warehouse Marketing Support Managers to develop a solid working connection through the creation and maintenance of warehouse vehicle displays, as well as continuous assistance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL:

  • Develop and keep track of all motor vehicle and unit display schedules for assigned warehouses and dealerships.
  • Work with warehouse and dealer contacts to plan, advertise, and support OEM events.
  • Maintain denied dealer display requests and follow-up as needed to reschedule
  • The ability to respond thoughtfully to objections
  • Provide new Vehicle Display Contacts with training on all display processes and procedures.
  • Answer incoming calls politely and tactfully, offering complete and accurate information.
  • Keep a working understanding of program operations.
  • Keep meticulous records of dealer and warehouse conversations in a database.
  • Keep open lines of communication with WMS managers, leadership, personnel, and other departments.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings
  • Possibility of assisting other departments with seasonal initiatives
  • Assessing daily workload reports and prioritizing duties
  • Collect and review supporting documentation for vehicle damage/incident reports.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in customer service or administration
  • Professional communication skills with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Superior follow-up, relationship-building, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good phone manners and phone management (phone sales experience is a plus)
  • Detail-oriented; capable of multitasking and organizing.
  • The ability to speak or present in small groups when necessary.
  • A pleasant personality and a cheerful outlook.
  • Must be self-motivated, take initiative, and work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Strives to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Superior written and vocal communication abilities.
  • Must be a team player who gets along well with others.
  • Must be versatile and flexible in order to shift and adjust priorities based on business demands.
  • Ability to fulfill deadlines is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and working understanding of the internet.
