Position Description:

The ideal candidate will seek to increase brand recognition, promote thought leadership, and expand our audience through interaction and community management. This individual will have an extensive expertise in social media strategy and will have developed and flawlessly implemented extremely effective social media campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Checkr’s social media channels, including daily operations, content creation, and scheduling/publishing of content.
  • Supervise community management and enable involvement across all channels that is as timely, suitable, and consistent with the brand as feasible.
  • Create and manage the social content calendar; interact with the Marketing & Communications Team to guarantee the accuracy and execution of content across all key social channels.
  • Collect, evaluate, and report on engagement and development metrics; give leadership with regular updates.
  • Based on content performance, uncover insights and make practical recommendations for how to optimize and advance the brand on social media channels.
  • Collaborate with members of Checkr’s Brand Studio team to create and maintain photographic and video assets.
  • Assist in identifying digital brand partners with cultural relevance for partnerships, and design social media strategies for these partners.
  • Communicate Checkr’s customer and partner narratives in an entertaining and thought-provoking manner.
  • Collaborate with members of Checkr’s Brand Studio team to create and maintain visual assets.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising, social media, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience managing social media channels and reporting platforms like Sprout Social, Sprinklr, or Hootsuite.
  • Capability to monitor trends in order to maintain material that is engaging, interactive, and timely; ability to make suggestions on trending topics, products, and best practices.
  • Excellent project management and attention to detail, including proactive and autonomous creation of work plans, deadlines, and budget with minimal oversight.
  • Capability to effectively deliver concepts to colleagues (orally and in writing) and articulate a clear creative vision.
  • Highly collaborative and able to establish and propagate an internal knowledge base on social media strategies.
