Position Description:
The Associate Marketing Manager will be in charge of coming up with and carrying out strategies to market Inovalon’s provider apps, integrations, and data in order to draw in new business partners and spur additional innovation to expand the provider business unit.
Responsibilities and obligations:
- To lead the assigned market team in the development of marketing campaigns, demand creation initiatives, and lead generation activities that will generate leads and help the sales team achieve corporate objectives in partnership with the senior manager;
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of a project management tool to plan and coordinate the implementation of marketing campaigns using email, social media, direct mail, webinars, and other techniques; offers suggestions on all marketing promotion materials employed;
- aid in the creation of marketing materials for messaging to customers and prospects;
- Determine and offer suggestions on advertising, involvement in trade shows, and industry associations;
- Keep track of marketing efforts and outcomes as well as the contribution and expansion of the pipeline;
- act as the “Voice of the Customer” and gain a thorough grasp of customers’ purchasing behaviors, including their motivations, timing, and optimal methods of contact;
- Obtain provider application certifications, and assist the Marketing & Sales team with positioning and messaging;
- work with the Sales Accelerator Office on the topics and schedules for marketing webinars and presentations;
- Whenever necessary, conduct presentations and webinars;
- tracking competitors and creating effective competitive positioning strategies with Product Management and Sales Enablement;
- Keep abreast of market and regulatory trends that affect product requirements, purchase, and use;
- further tasks as deemed necessary or desired;
- uphold adherence to Inovalon’s rules, guidelines, and mission statement;
- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements outlined in Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with regard to any aspect of the data handled or services provided in the performance of the position; and Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon with the goal of achieving operational and financial success for the Employer.
Task Requirements:
- B2B marketing experience of at least three (3) years is necessary, with prior exposure to the healthcare sector desired;
- Experience working for an agency, preferably with knowledge of content and digital marketing;
- the capacity to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders (such as sales, marketing, development, technical services, etc.);
- the capacity to operate autonomously in a fast-paced atmosphere to accomplish goals;
- outstanding project management abilities;
- a working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- technical and business skills, together with the capacity to learn quickly;
- skills in verbal and writing communication that are clear and effective;
- excellent planning, organizing, and analytical skills with attention to detail;
- incredibly self-motivated and self-directed with the capacity to successfully balance multiple activities and priorities
- Excellent presentational abilities, the capacity to adapt to shifting priorities, and ease with ambiguity.
