Position Description:
Where Co-op financing has been awarded and confirmed, the Manager, Marketing Co-Op, All-Inclusive shall carry out initiatives on behalf of the portfolio of All-Inclusive resorts. Collaboration between the Sales & Commercial Services, Special Events, and Marketing teams at All-Inclusive Hilton Worldwide as well as other departments within the firm is required to achieve this. This team member will need to be able to attend tradeshows as necessary in order to coordinate with marketing contacts at partner companies, develop and maintain relationships with wholesale partners, Bed Banks, and other B2B Distributors, and work with hotels to best align resort and enterprise plans. The success of this function depends on strategic analysis and negotiation of the Co-op plans put forth by partners.
You will more specifically:
- Support the marketing strategies and plans for the Wholesale, Host, and Consortia, as well as Travel Agency Co-op teams on the Hilton Sales Worldwide team.
- Provide account planning assistance to the HWS Director of Wholesale Sales in order to enable growth through the negotiation of partner Co-op campaigns.
- serve as a subject matter expert for All-Inclusive who comprehends consumer behavior and improves Hilton shelf space.
- Develop strategic strategies with top clients through marketing collaboration and messaging for sales and promotional campaigns to anticipate partner needs and increase market share.
- Review and final approval of any sales materials, digital assets, social media posts, or other elements of a partner’s yearly Co-op plan’s integrated marketing strategy.
- For Co-op Plan authorized sales materials, review and give your approval to the content, messaging, and imagery (e.g. copy compilation for email, website landing pages, video production, flier creation, brochure development, and print ads and other components presented by a partner as part of their annual Co-op plan).
- Help develop and suggest ideas that can result in more adoption of particular wholesaler marketing initiatives and increased participation.
- Implement performance tracking to collect evidence of performance as needed to evaluate Return on Investment, including monthly tabulation and reporting of data on Co-op, spend, and outcomes.
- Manage, monitor, and report on the allocated marketing cooperative budget. Keep the action/ads calendar current. Ensure that the ads/placements are running in accordance with the marketing strategy.
- The marketing grid calendar should be made and updated.
- Review and update the hotel listings on the websites of website partners.
- Recognize market trends that influence purchasing habits and provide innovative solutions.
