Position Description:

To fill the position of Manager, Digital Marketing, ADA is seeking a strategic digital marketer with experience in social content planning. The manager of digital marketing will be in charge of creating thorough digital marketing plans for distributed partners and artists from Label Services across all genres and career phases. The job will oversee a portfolio of initiatives and design marketing strategies that promote music consumption, foster cultural discourse, and increase artist social followings and engagement. They will be specialists in industry standards for digital marketing music and will be both creatively and analytically motivated.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Develop digital marketing rollouts and campaign plans for ADA Label Services partners to increase music streams, video views, user-generated content (UGC), social media engagement, CRM/fan acquisition, and an overall digital creative vision.
  • Create a social narrative and content strategy for each artist in collaboration with their management that strengthens their brands, promotes fan engagement, sparks cultural dialogue, and increases music consumption.
  • Create, commission, and oversee digital campaign budgets and strategies, including content production, advertising, influencer marketing, augmented reality, and custom web construction, for Label Services releases.
  • Create and maintain partnerships with internet partners, outside marketing firms, content producers, and influencers.
  • Real-time campaign monitoring and suggestions for ongoing development. To calculate the effect of each campaign and gauge the efficiency of each technique, create post-mortem analysis.
  • As needed, assist with the creation and enhancement of online artist properties and communities (such as YouTube, TikTok, Discord, and microsites).
  • Together with the ADA Digital Commerce team and the department head, develop marketing strategies to support streaming service potential. Analyze consumer trends at the track or artist level to inform specific social media ads that will encourage streaming
  • Build unified cross-platform campaigns by working with internal teams such ADA Commerce, Label Management/Marketing, Publicity, and Sync.
  • Take advantage of internal WMX O&O media and IMGN internet sources to promote artists.
  • Maintain a deep awareness of how to use each social platform to increase engagement and consumption, as well as expert level knowledge of social platforms and social content techniques. Establish objectives for audience expansion and engagement, then develop a plan to get there.
  • Provide artists and label clients of Label Services with new digital resources and relationships, such as platforms, market research, and marketing tools, as well as alliances with impending websites and services.
  • Provide artists, managers, and internal stakeholders with product updates and best practices
  • Create and uphold connections with social media platform representatives and take part in periodic update meetings as facilitated by the department leader.
  • Create and oversee campaign tactics for ADA’s online and social media presence.

Knowing you:

  • Having a bachelor’s degree or anything like is preferred.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience working professionally in the music industry’s digital/social media marketing.
  • You excel at planning and communicating, and you are knowledgeable about social media content strategy.
  • You are passionate about digital fan strategies, social media, music, and technology.
  • Especially among Gen Z customers, you have a pulse on the most recent pop culture and social media trends and ideals.
  • You create and nurture relationships.
