Position Description:
The Marketing Manager (IFP/SMB) will handle a paid media budget of about $4M aimed at our individual, family, and small business audience. This position can be based anywhere in the United States.
Principal Responsibility:
- Develop an effective and developing capability for lead generation to boost sales of IFP and SMB health plans via the online ecommerce platform and the telesales organization.
- Direct internal and external resources to promote the profitable growth of performance marketing channels, with quarterly volume targets and methods that maximize the growth of core channels while testing the expansion of new channels.
- Restructure our IFP/SMB direct-to-consumer and B2B media mix, seeking profitable strategies to expand into new channels.
- Supervise the creation of an omnichannel audience strategy, utilizing research to generate an in-depth understanding of the distinct consumer demands of people, families, and enterprises, as well as customer broker partners, and collaborating with data scientists to construct advanced targeting models.
- Create a refreshed creative platform with distinct value propositions.
- Partner with product to develop an industry-leading, frictionless experience that increases conversions and engagement.
- Partner with customer service and sales to gain insight into demands and pain points that marketing could address to boost conversion and retention.
- Partner with the Business Development team to use marketing capabilities in order to generate a pipeline of new relationships and strengthen existing ones.
- Develop procedures to maintain continual compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Conduct audience research and analysis to generate actionable insights and initiatives for marketing and product experience teams.
Ideal Experience:
- In-depth knowledge and demonstrated success in generating growth in a direct-to-consumer firm, as well as knowledge of B2B marketing methods.
- Four or more years of experience in consumer and brand marketing.
- Successful performance and outcomes in the health care industry (Individual, Family and Small Business experience preferred).
- A track record of deploying a performance marketing budget in an efficient manner that constantly promotes growth in terms of ROI and LTV.
- Using analytics to drive business decisions with proficiency.
- Proven track record and accountability for quarterly performance achievement.
- Experience establishing effective and fruitful interdepartmental partnerships.
- Experience and comfort working in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, at a rapid pace and with a flexible temperament to adjust to the ever-changing needs of the consumer, the regulatory environment, and the business.
