Position Description

Cigna Group is seeking an experienced Manufacturer Rebates Accountant to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the AR ledger of an assigned portfolio of manufacturer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on delinquent payments from manufacturers
• Provide direction on complex payer application of receipts
• Conduct research for denied claims to confirm and resolve issues
• Facilitate adjustments to the sub-ledger for an accurate account receivable representation
• Work independently and lead discussions on complex topics
• Collaborate with cross-functional areas to meet hard deadlines
• Support the KPIs of the manufacturer accounts receivable team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with large-scale ERP system, Oracle or JDE preferred
• Strong financial acumen
• Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated integrity
• Ability to self-motivate and sustain performance with minimal supervision
• Ability to present complex information to various audiences
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Experience with Oracle Receivables Management & Billing (ORMB) a plus
