Responsibilities:
- Develops, maintains, and communicates company healthcare programs, point solutions, dental, vision, and FSA benefits. Offers consultation services both internally and outside.
- Ensures that all communications are in conformity with laws and regulations, including those relating to the Affordable Care Act, the Department of Labor, the Internal Revenue Service, and HIPAA supervision.
- In order to better manage employee education, leads program creation by finding relevant, quantifiable health and wellness activities using industry benchmarks and employee feedback from escalated issues.
- accountable for timely and accurate communications with all company leaders, including front-line managers and supervisors, the HR organization, and executives.
- To design and develop content for healthcare benefit communications and policy/program change announcements, including subject matter expertise for annual enrollment efforts, partners with Corporate Communications, the HR Service Delivery team, healthcare suppliers, and the Human Resource benefit process outsourcing vendor.
- In all operating processes and procedures, adopts safety-conscious behaviors.
Requirements:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)
- A bachelor’s degree is required, or the equivalent in work experience.
- A minimum of seven years of relevant work experience is required. It is preferred if you have experience communicating about healthcare advantages.
- Must be well-versed in communication tactics, regulatory compliance, and health and welfare strategies.
- Must possess advanced technical knowledge in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities; presenting skills are a plus.
- Should have excellent leadership, planning, organization, and time management abilities.
- Must be objective, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Work in a fast-paced atmosphere with little supervision, be ready to work a flexible schedule, and be willing to travel as needed.
