Responsibilities:

  • Organize enterprise-wide internal communications campaigns, business literacy programs, and internal storytelling efforts.
  • Help the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications create content and channel strategies that will allow Delta to utilize all of its internal communication platforms to its fullest potential.
  • Create new content strategies that support Delta’s corporate objectives, give staff the knowledge they require to deliver a standout customer experience, and support our culture of being a great place to work.
  • Create and implement campaigns for employees as well as employee storytelling initiatives.
  • Write for the internal routes of communication.
  • To provide useful and perceptive communication advice and thought leadership regarding new forms of communication, stay up to date on the most recent developments.
  • Drive digital initiatives, such as email optimization, and give leaders and communication stakeholders insight.

Requirements:

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)

  • Employee communications experience spanning at least five years is preferred.
  • Must possess exceptional writing abilities, the capacity to analyze and speak clearly, develop a point of view on complex problems, and produce a story that is both succinct and well-written.
  • Experience working with leaders in matrixed teams and delivering innovative, efficient solutions to challenging communications difficulties.
  • Knowledge of metrics reports and data presentation as support for communications strategy.
  • Effective communication skills with groups of front-line employees and managers at all levels.
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook must be used at a functional level.
  • Must be very independent and has the capacity to manage several assignments, operate under time constraints, and achieve deadlines.
  • Must be adaptable while dealing with shifting deadlines and priorities.
  • Must exhibit safety-conscious actions and perform satisfactorily in current employment.
  • If you are not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc., you must have obtained or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by the date of hire in order to be considered for a position based in the United States.
  • Consistently puts the security and safety of oneself, others, and personal information first.
  • Embraces varied people, ideas, and ways of doing things.
  • Holds a high school diploma, GED, or other equivalent qualification.
  • Possesses legal permission to work in the US and is at least 18 years old.

WHAT (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE

  • Experience with video and multimedia is a bonus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or a similar profession is advised.
