Responsibilities:
The ideal applicant will possess a special combination of sharp analytical abilities, great communication skills, and a tolerance for uncertainty. They must be able to establish strong, trust-based business partnerships that will enable them to offer great incentive programs to our cardmembers while also generating the highest possible income for shareholders.
- Overseeing all parts of the monthly results analysis for all international markets, including giving senior finance and business leaders compelling narratives, strategic insights, and a clear picture of performance.
- Measuring and predicting the effects of agreement negotiations in close collaboration with business development partners
- Supporting the annual plan, long-term plan, and monthly R&O processes; putting together and communicating key messages to senior leadership
- Ad-hoc and continuing analytical initiatives are led and supported, and rewards strategy for both new and existing goods is influenced. Prioritization activities are also driven.
- Assessing existing procedures and advising improvements or efficiencies
- Playing the role of subject matter expert for International Card Member Rewards – owning Rewards Expense and Liability Modeling
- Establishing and utilizing connections to promote effective and cooperative decision-making
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement, with economics or finance desirable.
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of related work experience
- Able to deal with ambiguity and be very motivated to drive results
- Effective relationship-building abilities with the capacity to work in different time zones and locations across Marketing, Finance, and Controllership.
- Exceptional communication abilities, including the capacity to distill complicated concepts into messages that both executives and market audiences can understand and act upon.
- Demonstrated capacity to oversee several projects at once without compromising quality
- Excel and PowerPoint expertise at a high level is necessary
- Knowledge of TM1, SQL, and SAS is a plus.
- Knowledge with card economics and loyalty reward systems is a plus.
Salary: $80,000 to $155,000 a year, with bonuses and benefits
