Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily customer service activities, such as monitoring gate activity and ticket counter activity in various facilities.
- Makes sure resources are used effectively to meet operational performance goals.
- Enforces all departmental and business policies, especially those relating to safety and security
- Examines the staffing needs and the bid schedules for each employee
- Ensures compliance by informing frontline staff and customer service managers of process changes.
- Analyzes and keeps an eye on trends to ensure timely performance
- Employee development and mentoring
- Determines areas that need development
- Creates and uses procedures to increase productivity and efficiency
- Improves relationships with suppliers and guarantees compliance with contractual commitments
- Ensures compliance with all internal audit standards
- Creates an annual budget and cost plan, and keeps an eye on it
- Helps with CSM/Customer Service Supervisor interviews and hiring
- Being able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Performing additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.
- Business management degree from an accredited university, similar experience, or training
- 3 years of managerial experience in airline customer service
Knowledge, Permits, and Certifications
- Having familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Superior analytical abilities, and expert knowledge of PC-related software
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Tolerant of high stress conditions, with the ability to multitask and handle fluctuating priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
