Responsibilities:
- Organizes, implements, maintains, and supervises the work of a group of analysts and planners that are in charge of material planning, metric creation and analysis, shop repair scheduling, and bill of works.
- Identifies new possibilities to use the tools, procedures, best practices, and reporting that are currently accessible
- develops analysts and planners to ensure that they are highly skilled at their jobs and to prepare them for roles with greater responsibility in the future.
- Identifies and develops project deadlines, objectives, and stakeholders.
- Identifies business concerns with department managers and develops solutions to those challenges
- Senior leadership is updated on project milestones
- Completes project and initiative justifications
- Identifies areas for departmental optimization and performance improvement using a variety of data sources.
- Finds action plans and corrective measures for the department.
- Resolves departmental problems and establishes activity deadlines
- Makes team communication better
- Gives analysts and planners direction, coaching, and mentoring to enable them to make wise decisions on time.
- Focuses on the demands and desires of the customer
Requirements:

Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.
- Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, economics, or another business-related discipline, or comparable experience/training, and four years of experience in airline operations
Education and Work History
- Obtaining Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, and operations for at least five years is preferred.
