Job Description

Job Type: Manager from home
Location: Texas work from home
Company: Amazon

At Amazon, we try to be the most customer-focused company on the planet, and we are always working to improve how we fill and deliver customer orders. As we add more logistics products and services, our goal is to go above and beyond what people expect by constantly trying to come up with new ideas and giving the best customer service in the industry. To make the customer experience better, we are putting together a group of customer service representatives who work at delivery stations. This will allow them to find out where a package is and how Amazon can get it to a customer as quickly as possible. It also gives customers access to local experts who can give them the most accurate and up-to-date information about their packages and how Amazon is fixing any delivery problems that might affect them.

Shipping & Delivery Support (SDS) is looking for a Delivery Station Customer Support Team Manager to help start this new way of providing customer service across the US. In this job, you will be in charge of a group of 15–20 In-Station Customer Support Associates. These people help Amazon customers who use Amazon Logistics Delivery Stations by giving them local customer service. Your team of employees will be spread out in different places in your region. In the role, you will be responsible for the overall performance and operational delivery of your team of associates at each location. This will require you to work with key support functions like Delivery Station Operations, Program Managers, Recruiting, and Human Resources to review performance trends and opportunities and take action to improve the service level and quality of performance. Experience with operational management and improving processes is a plus, and you should be able to make decisions when there isn’t a lot of information. In this role, it will be important to work well with your team and with other teams.

This person must be able to get to and work from one of Amazon’s existing delivery stations in the US and be willing to travel to other parts of the country as needed.
