Responsibilities:
- Establish and preserve a welcoming and stimulating online learning environment while assisting with the process of online learning.
- Assist in teaching DIG3124 Principles of Interaction and Usefulness using the course resources.
- Create and grade student assignments while giving prompt, helpful feedback on their efforts.
- Keep an eye on and reply to questions and comments from students in the virtual learning environment.
- Respect the scheduled courses, keeping up of industry developments and methods to improve education and course material.
- Encourage academic honesty and uphold the rules and regulations of the course.
- To effectively offer course content, make use of the right digital resources, communication tools, and online learning platforms.
- Ensure that the course timetable is well-organized, and make yourself accessible to students via online communication platforms for assistance and explanation.
- Modify instructional techniques to accommodate the various demands of distant learners and establish a welcoming and encouraging virtual learning environment.
Requirements:
Minimum Conditions:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or digital arts
- Three or more years of experience in the fields of design, animation, digital arts, or other pertinent fields.
- Proven proficiency and work experience in the fields of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.
- Proficiency with digital programs that are industry standards, such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
- Interpersonal and communication skills that work well to explain difficult ideas to students and provide them helpful criticism.
- Strong organizational abilities to create and deliver course materials on schedule.
Desired Requirements:
- A master’s degree or above, ideally in a relevant discipline or a related field like design or digital arts
- Possess a background in asynchronous or online learning environments.
- Proficiency with digital tools related to graphic design and production, multimedia applications, and online learning management systems (LMS).
- Schedule flexibility to meet the demands of students and continue to be active online on a regular basis.
- Ability to set priorities for work and give pupils prompt feedback and assistance.
- Proof of having succeeded in creating an atmosphere that values diversity of thought, open communication, pluralism, inquiry, and everyone’s well-being.
