Responsibilities:

Working closely with a team of engineers to drive delivery excellence, collaborating with business and other IT leaders to create digital assets, providing expert level support to resolve complex issues and providing RCA, identifying system gaps in the current digital eco system, and providing solutions to improve overall performance are all part of this role. All of this is essential for enhancing the client experience and generating digital growth. In order to provide company growth and outstanding customer experiences that set CVS apart in the industry, this person will work with digital leaders, business partners, and IT colleagues. They will also ensure effective, efficient, and secure product development.

  • Utilize the Spring Boot Framework, Java/J2EE, REST API, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, Hibernate, Oracle, and other technology stacks to create applications, web services, and cloud-native applications (Open source and proprietary).
  • Join a team of engineers working with the product and user experience teams to create elegant code, cutting-edge customer experiences, and market-leading digital experiences.
  • Work together to develop solutions that will speed up market entry and cut costs.
  • Participate in PI planning and build communication with the Product Owners and the entire team.
  • Be a part of the Agile Scrum team’s sprint planning, grooming, daily scrum, review, and retrospective meetings.
  • Utilizing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, and JBehave for unit testing.
  • As part of the CI/CD process, create and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
  • Be in charge of the full application delivery process, including coordinating with the necessary teams for production deployment.
  • Application health and KPIs are continuously monitored, and triage of any production issues is supported as and when required.
  • Work together to identify the fundamental causes of complex data, feature, service, and platform problems so that you may proactively fix operational and product problems.
  • Be a champion of security best practices, support the value of security within engineering, and collaborate with teams working on enterprise and digital security as well as owners of digital products to assure compliance.
  • Assist your colleagues engineers in software design and development activities with technical advice and coaching.

Pay Scale

The usual pay scale for this position is as follows: 75,000 minimum; 167,000 maximum

Please remember that this range represents the salary range for every position in the job grade that this position belongs to. The location is just one of several variables that will be considered when determining the actual compensation offer.

Requirements:

Required credentials

  • Five or more years’ experience in software analysis, design, development, implementation, and testing.
  • 3 years or more of experience working with frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring, and Struts
  • Java/J2EE experience of at least three years.
  • Three or more years of expertise working with internet technologies like JSP, HTML, XML, XSLT, XCOPY, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, and CSS.
  • experience with a CI/CD pipeline for at least three years, such as GIT, Stash, Bit Bucket, Artifactory, Jenkins, etc.
  • 2+ years of expertise with Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage to host an application on the GCP.

Preferred Requirements

  • Solid familiarity with the iOS developer ecosystem
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience is preferable, but agile development experience is essential.
  • programming in the backend of websites
  • with TDD development experience and a strong willingness to incorporate tests from the beginning
  • contributions of apps that have been made available on the Apple store

Education: Bachelor’s degree or an experience level equivalent.
