- Advising and working together with instructional designers to translate design requirements into practical, eye-catching solutions
- Create, cultivate, and preserve visual language and branding for all product collateral.
- Explain and present design concepts to team members and clients so they can be implemented across works.
- Prepare wireframes, concept art, and mock-ups for preliminary approvals.
- Organize project schedules and notify partners of progress.
Requirements:
Prerequisite Education & Experience:
- Contributing your expert understanding of Microsoft Office (with a focus on PowerPoint for partners to maintain) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro)
- Using your skills in color, illustration, typography, presentation design, layout, and logo design to shape the employee experience
- a basic knowledge of user interface design and usability
- Interaction and fundamental project management
- Being familiar with both Mac and PC environments
- Applying your understanding of standards and file formats to prepare documents for printing as opposed to online
- the capacity to create storyboards, comps, and other visual images
Desired Requirements:
- Fundamental knowledge of UX design
- Motion graphics and video editing
- Knowledge of crafting in a clear and concise narrative
- Education Requirement:
- A recent graduate, junior, or senior seeking a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a similar discipline
Qualifiability Standards:
- Prior to participating in the internship program, you must be enrolled in at least one class at an accredited college or university during the spring or fall semester, have graduated from college or university within the last six months, or be presently a part of the Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.
- Must be at least eighteen years old.
- Must not have finished a full year of employment on a Disney program or internship.
- Need to have unfettered authorization to work
Additional Details:
- This internship is scheduled to run roughly from January 2024 to June 2024.
- For the duration of the internship, the candidate must be available to work full-time hours, or about 40 hours per week.
- The majority of this internship will be done on-site — In order to work in the Orlando, Florida area, one must be able to provide one’s own home and dependable transportation. The student will work one day remotely and four days in the office. Requires a quiet, dedicated workstation in addition to a functional, dependable internet connection.
