Position Description:

We need someone who can immediately adapt our brand tone and style across all of our communications and who is a self-starter and team player. Writing branded communications for the web, digital, social media, blogs, and print will be your main responsibility.

You’ll be a part of a welcoming, enjoyable team environment where talented individuals look forward to going to work each day to assist others with their finances.

How you’ll act:

  • Own the whole concepting and authoring process for marketing initiatives for the PAL team across a range of digital platforms, including but not limited to:
  • Inbox Design
  • Within-app messages
  • posts on social media
  • branding effort and materials
  • assets and lead generation campaigns
  • templates for one-pagers, sales decks, and customer success documents used in go-to-market campaigns
  • Online Videos
  • Websites (including our own and partner sites’) and other interactive resources
  • Resources for promoting SoFi to employees by employers
  • Write copy that is understandable, succinct, and conversational for HR professionals and a wider Enterprise audience.
  • Find fresh methods to tell our brand’s narrative while also coming up with concepts for how branded material can be brought to life through various channels.
  • Take the initiative to develop additional types of material, such as quizzes, tutorials, infographics, animations, video, and more, to supplement the blog, resource center, and website.
  • All content provided by partners and guest authors should be edited and proofread for voice and tone.
  • Maintain the brand voice’s consistency through working with reviewers and stakeholders.
  • Make promotional materials for appealing, rapidly expanding products
  • You’re confident working with your team’s designers on messaging in addition to designing marketing materials.
  • Make consumer- and business-facing content that is innovative, thought-provoking, and compelling on an emotional level.
  • To consistently deliver and enhance business results, help us test, iterate, and optimize designs.
  • Collaborate with other team members from the creative, web, and development departments as well as cross-functional stakeholders from the strategy, product marketing, and lifecycle marketing departments.
  • Promote the SoFi user experience and brand, and aid in developing the SoFi brand story.
  • Join our close-knit internal creative studio, which creates world-class, award-winning advertising and marketing materials.

You’ll require:

  • Having worked in an advertising or internal creative agency for three or more years and possessing great digital copywriting abilities
  • Your writing is sharp, funny, and unafraid to challenge accepted conventions.
  • Depending on the media and target, SoFi’s brand voice and tone can be changed.
  • knowledge of developing ideas for integrated marketing campaigns and new product launches.
  • You work well with others. You’ve collaborated with a designer or art director before, and you enjoy doing so.
  • You can pick things up quickly and are a quick learner.
  • You’re intrigued by the enterprise itself. You strive to comprehend the objectives and strategies of the product marketing manager so that you may work together, using shrewd communication, to attain those objectives.
  • You only care about data. You enjoy copy-testing and making revisions based on the results.
  • You are self-driven, organized, and able to manage several projects at once.
  • You have a keen strategic sense, excellent problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
