If so, Kelly has a fantastic opportunity for an HR Generalist to join a fantastic team at a cutting-edge corporate headquarters in a crucial capacity! With a starting pay of between $65,000 and $80,000 depending on experience, a generous benefits package, and a flexible work schedule, this is a direct hire position. In this position, you will support the VP of Human Resources administratively as needed, concentrating mostly on Payroll, Benefits/Compensation, and Employee Relations for 250 workers. With the possibility of promotion to a Senior job in one year, this position offers exceptional career growth potential!
Please be aware that this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week at the Burtonsville office and 2 days of remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Process Bi-Weekly Payroll and provide customer care by responding to inquiries and requests from employees
control daily ADP updates - Manage enrollments, modifications, and terminations for health and welfare plans. To guarantee correct record-keeping and appropriate deductions, process necessary paperwork through payroll and insurance providers.
- Respond to questions from stakeholders such as the executive team, center directors, and management.
- Online investigation requests should be made, and background checks for new hires should be supported.
- Consolidate benefit statements, carry out payroll, benefits, or other HR program audits, and suggest remedial action
- Help with performance evaluations, employee termination paperwork, and onboarding new hires.
- Aid in the recruitment and interview process, monitor the status of candidates in HRIS, and send follow-up letters once the hiring process is complete.
- Organize meetings and interviews in response to the HR Manager’s requests.
- Documentation, including copies, correspondence, scans, emails, and filing, all done in accordance with the right procedure.
Requirements:
- Strong ADP Payroll expertise and experience are a must, with a minimum of 2-3 years of HR Generalist experience with a focus on Payroll,
- Benefits, and Employee Relations. Our partner requires someone who can get things going right away.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a closely related subject.
- PHR/SHRM-CP is strongly advised.
- The capacity to professionally and empathetically handle challenging conversations with employees
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service communication abilities, as well as attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of human resource concepts, methods, and practices
- The capacity to learn software tailored to a certain enterprise
- Proficiency in using and managing spreadsheets with Microsoft Excel
- Proficient with Zoom and the Microsoft Office Suite
