Responsibilities:

In this position, you will collaborate with front-line business leaders to develop, put into practice, and apply HR strategies that address internal customer service, talent management, workforce planning, organizational success, and employee engagement. Furthermore, you will offer direct assistance to our leadership, PXT, and employee teams, relying on your HR knowledge and compassion. You will require a versatile skill set to succeed, including the capacity to work with people from different teams, levels, and contexts and to see the broad picture while delving deeply into the specifics.

No two days are the same as an HR partner, however these are the duties that usually comprise a typical day:

  • Assist in developing a best-in-class employee experience with a group of hourly and senior PXT workers (not all PXT business lines will have an onsite hourly staff).
  • Encourage and provide an example of an inclusive work environment for all staff members.
  • Promote the success of your staff by providing end-to-end experiences that make them feel appreciated for who they are as people and completely involved in the task they do.
  • Use sound judgment when making decisions, navigate ambiguity, and act as the initial point of contact for employee problems.
  • Develop and implement a proactive strategy to influence innovation and change in the area of employee engagement.
  • Encourage the use of self-service, technology adoption, change management, and ongoing development.
  • In addition to typical standard tasks pertaining to employee onboarding, performance management, engagement processes, and benefits services, provide discretionary and professional support for employee issues and problems.
  • Deliver efficient internal and external customer service with an emphasis on business acumen and good communication.
  • Through leadership 1:1s, roundtables, and training, coach, develop, and support leadership through decision making with empathy and good judgment.
  • Work together with people at all organizational levels, from front-line staff to top leaders.
  • Encourage and mentor partners to focus on the employee experience and the customer when they are innovating.
  • Utilize data and metrics to spot patterns, foresee needs of the company, and create action plans that include deep dives and planning for attendance and attrition.
  • Actively oversee both professional and personal growth via ongoing education and training.

Requirements:

PRIMARY QUALIFCATIONS

Fundamental Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree from a recognized college.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in human resources, human resources management, labor relations, business/management, psychology, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken communication.
  • Possess experience with payroll systems, HRIS, and Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Capacity to exhibit exceptionally strong cognitive and analytical abilities, such as the ability to analyze problems, make decisions, and analyze financial and quantitative data.
  • The capacity to exhibit excellent judgment, empathy, independence, and adaptability.
  • The capacity to uphold stringent confidentiality when it comes to payroll, benefits, and employee matters while working in human resources
  • The capacity to perform well in an unclear situation and the ability to inspire yourself to fulfill deadlines.
