Job Description:

With a kind and courteous greeting, he leads guests to their tables, finding them a comfy seat. Watches over the dining area and entrance and makes sure the restaurant is kept clean. As you say hello and farewell, ask the patrons on the caliber of the services offered by the restaurant. Has to be capable of operating a cashier. Notify the on-duty supervisor of any problems or occurrences. Has to be quite organized and communicative.

Purposes

• makes sure the entry doors and their surrounds are tidy and have a friendly look.
• Check all phone reservations and communications with VIP Services, management, and other personnel to make sure everyone is seated on time.
• In charge of keeping up the seating plan so that guests are seated fairly based on staffing levels.
• Must be able to run a cash register to add up all of the purchases made by guests and balance the cash drawer correctly every day.

Qualifications

• Has must be a high school diploma or a GED that is equivalent.
• A plus for consideration for this role will be prior hosting or cash handling job experience.
