Position Description:

A combination of project conceptualization, solution architecture, sales engineering, technical leadership, and people management will be part of your responsibilities as our Head of Engineering. The task of interacting with clients and translating their needs into technical solutions will be expected of you. Usually, you will be in charge of multiple projects for various clients across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Find, scope, architect, staff, and manage the delivery of sizable, comprehensive projects for clients.
• Develop solution timetables in collaboration with project managers and other team members.
• Work with technical professionals to evaluate the present system design and suggest improvements.
• Analyze and analyze risk as necessary.
• Keep an eye on the project’s scope at all times.
• Recognize how each person’s contribution fits into the bigger organizational picture.
• Update your knowledge and stay proactively informed about developments and happenings in the industry.
• Train, educate, and mentor your coworkers.
• fixing technical issues as they occur.
• Inform the relevant parties of any issues with the existing technology solutions in use.
• Update stakeholders on the costs, schedules, and procedures of product development

Qualifications

• five or more years of work experience in a position that is appropriate; ideally, professional services
• Experience leading teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from gathering requirements to developing solutions to implementing changes and rolling them out.
• knowledge of one or more of the following fundamental technology areas: data science/machine learning, MLOps, infrastructure/cloud, distributed & high-performance computing, and data engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities and the capacity to clearly and concisely explain complicated technical concepts.
• Deep mastery of Python Excellent leadership and organizational abilities.
• A plus is making contributions to open source projects.
• prior experience in consulting or working in a setting where clients are present.
