Responsibilities:
- Organize and guide the newly established Digital UI Design team, offering guidance to guarantee top-notch work and on-time project delivery.
- Deliver and motivate their team to produce work that has won awards, impacting change with their thoughts and creativity.
- Develop Delta’s digital design system’s approach to provide a consistent user experience on both internal and external digital channels.
- To ensure the delivery of unified and coherent digital experiences, closely collaborate with our digital agency of record.
- Encourage the development of and adherence to design operation and system governance processes.
- To enhance the design process and results, identify and suggest contemporary design trends, technology, and tools.
- To make sure the design deliverables satisfy quality requirements, evaluate them and offer feedback.
- Encourage a creative environment within the design team by promoting original solutions to design problems.
Requirements:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)
- At least 2 years in a management position, with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in digital design.
- Strong digital design work samples that show a thorough comprehension of design concepts and best practices.
- Knowledge of developing and maintaining design systems.
- Skills in project management, leadership, and effective communication.
- Knowledge of Figma, the Adobe Creative Cloud, and prototyping tools.
- Knowing how to apply the user research and testing approaches in the design process.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which are web development technologies.
- Knowledge of mobile-first design principles and responsive design.
- Consistently puts the security and safety of oneself, others, and personal information first.
- Embraces varied people, ideas, and ways of doing things.
- Holds a high school diploma, GED, or other equivalent qualification.
- Possesses legal permission to work in the US and is at least 18 years old.
