Job Description

Job Type: Full-Stack Engineer from home
Location: Texas work from home
Company: Cere Network

Regardless of the position or team, there are a few qualities we seek for in every employee at Cere:

  • We are looking for coworkers who will thrive in our high-energy office, where methodical, simulation-driven, quick development iterations and a first-principles attitude are the norm.
  • We desire coworkers that uphold high standards and rigorous discipline while adopting a growth mentality to continuously learn and gradually enhance routines and procedures.
  • Due to the need for everything to be meticulously structured and maintained in Notion, Slack, Wikis, etc., we demand that contributors have good communication abilities, especially writing skills. We seek independent, goal-oriented people who value accountability and openness. Nobody likes to micromanage other people.
  • In order to build a fantastic team and decentralized community where everyone genuinely supports and challenges each other to learn and grow by inventing together toward greater shared goals, we need good teammates who are also generally cool people. The only way we can maintain rapid innovation (and, in reality, the only way to live and work) is to embrace the development of such a collaborative society.

7+ years of experience as a software engineer; 4+ years of back-end development experience using the JVM (Kotlin/Java); 2+ years of experience as a team lead; understanding of microservices design patterns; experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS or comparable); experience with software testing (unit and integrations); ability to work with technical documentation/project specifications; experience with Elasticsearch.

Nice to have:

Ability to operate in a dispersed team; familiarity with blockchain APIs; familiarity with cryptography; experience with front-end programming are all desirable. (ReactJS).
