Position Description:

To join the Shared Platform team, the Verizon Network Systems Group is looking for a Full Stack Developer with a product development approach. You will be the Product Owner of the Canvas platform as part of the Shared Platform team. You will be in charge of a technical team that includes engineering and architecture tasks. As a member of the Shared Services team in Network Systems, you will primarily focus on planning and building new features, enhancements, and maintenance for the Canvas platform.

Among the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Creating scalable, efficient, and automated processes for large-scale data analysis, modeling, and validation.
• Architecting and implementing effective and efficient solutions, as well as creating reusable components that may be used by the entire NS group to solve business problems.
• Using real-world data to analyze, build algorithms, and deploy solutions.
• Collaborating with product managers to define the data analytics challenge.
• Collecting business needs and identifying use-cases where Cognitive Bots might increase system efficiency.
• Using data science to uncover, validate, and enhance work flows to do process mining.

You’ll need the following items:

• A bachelor’s degree or four or more years of experience is required.
• Six years of relevant work experience is required.
• Knowledge in developing and optimizing server architectures.
• Extensive experience creating scalable, high-availability systems with disaster recovery.
