We need someone who can advance our current data apps and develop fresh use cases. Right now, we have a wide variety of sensors and pipelines that expose their data to data lakes and data warehouses. On top of such data, we execute BI searches and expose specific use-cases via Spark jobs in RDS.

We also have various applications for data science. We haven’t yet looked into many of the apparent machine learning use-cases, but we would like to.

We’re trying to find a product team leader who can help us create and realize our vision.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute end-to-end data pipelines and collaborate closely with stakeholders to create instrumentation and establish data models as your responsibilities.
• Own up to the monitoring to guarantee that our data tooling is highly available.
• Create internal dashboards that are production-quality and have clearly defined KPIs.
• Assist the Cloud team in developing dashboards that are centered on the needs of the client to enable users understand how to utilize WalletConnect.
• To influence product and business decisions using data, collaborate closely with product, engineering, and other business stakeholders.
• Encourage decision-making at the top to be more data-informed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience working as a data scientist or engineer.
• extensive knowledge with databases, Python, and Spark
• deep familiarity with dimensional modeling, complex SQL approaches, and scaling ETL pipelines
• experience with quantitative modeling and applied statistics
• understanding of monitoring data systems that has been proven
• Great to have:
• SaaS and cryptocurrency domain experience would be advantageous.
• Rust and TypeScript expertise (helps with data ingestion pipeline)
• Ability to effectively communicate analytical insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders by translating them into concise recommendations.
• A solid foundation in statistical modeling, including time series forecasting, cohort and survival analysis, and regression.
• Benefits of having experience with Spark, Presto, DBT, and the AWS Glue/Athena toolsuite
