For our customer, we are looking for a capable Full Charge Bookkeeper. For this Full Charge Bookkeeper position, previous management of payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end closure, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, and full cycle A/P will be essential. The Full Charge Bookkeeper may be in charge of administrative personnel. This bookkeeper position might be right for you if you’re a self-motivated, well-organized accounting professional who works best with little supervision and under pressure. This full-time job opportunity is local to Wellington, Florida but is located remotely. The necessity for sporadic travel may arise.
Responsibilities:
How will you have an impact?
- Reporting of total receipts and business license
List the budgetary transfers.
- Schedule monthly reconciliations, financial statements, and any other necessary paperwork.
- Complete journal entries for cash accounts for loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
- Create subcontractor 1099 forms and any other necessary IRS year-end documentation.
- Maintain Accounts Payable.
- Control the month-end accounting close.
- Management and reconciliation of credit cards
- Develop cash flow predictions as necessary.
- Accounts Receivable experience
- Keep sales tax data, create quarterly payments, and file them.
- Secondary task when required
Requirements:
- Broad experience with year-end closings; – Thorough experience with month-end closings; – Previous experience working with administrative management; – Preferable: Financial reporting experience; – Proven knowledge of journal entries; – Profit and loss experience; – Previous work involving payroll; – Thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel; – Practical knowledge of Bank Account R
- Solid knowledge of insurance
Understanding of property management is required, as is prior full-charge bookkeeping expertise. - Thorough understanding of budgeting – QuickBooks experience – Attention to detail and a track record of adhering to rules are requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. A BA or BS in accounting, finance, economics, or another business-related discipline is desired.
Strong time management and organizational skills; exceptional analytical, organizational, and vendor management abilities; proficiency working in matrix organizations and handling ambiguity. - Preferable prior accounting experience, especially that of a bookkeeper.
