Position Description

Carmichael Lynch, the social-first agency of the future, is seeking a Freelance Social Media Content Creator who is passion-driven and has a unique blend of creative and conceptual skills. The incumbent will be responsible for creating visually stimulating content for various social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok.

Responsibilities

– Work on digital design and content production for social-first channels
– Develop quarterly foundational content for leading accounts across the agency
– Conduct research on relevant consumer insights and trends to deliver platform-specific content recommendations
– Conceptualize ideas that align with the overall social strategy and help clients achieve their goals
– Proactively plan the pre-production process, including props, talent, music, permitting, and more
– Create high-quality, breakthrough social content using a diverse range of media
– Deliver content assets on-time and on-budget
– Develop and implement processes and best practices for content creation, ensuring the optimization of brand voice and tone as per brand guidelines
– Actively seek opportunities to learn new techniques and adapt to new social mediums

Qualifications

– Must have two or more years of experience creating, editing, and designing content for social media
– Must possess excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
– Must be proficient in MS Office software, G suite, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, Illustrator), Apple (Keynote, Pages, Numbers), and social/digital video editing
– Strong presentation skills is a plus
– Must have the ability to solve problems quickly and think on their feet
– Should have good time management and organizational skills
– Must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity
– Should have experience with animation, illustration, 3D, and/or photography
