Position Description:

This position is part of the Monetary Operations Teams within the Enterprise Bank Servicing business, and you will provide a world-class experience for American Express National Bank by servicing either consumer or commercial customers. You will provide exceptional individualized customer service by adhering to our Customer First structure, creating rapport, and displaying a positive, friendly attitude. You will be responsible for processing inbound/outbound calls on accounts while maintaining a professional working relationship between American Express, the customer, and external banks as a Monetary Operations Colleague. You will help our customers by obtaining and evaluating relevant data to decide the best course of action while working in a fast-paced, close-knit team environment.

In this position, you will be part of a team that is in charge of the daily processing of: Wire Transfers, ACH transactions, Mobile Check Deposits, Official Check requests, Internal transfers, Account closures, and any other monetary or servicing requirements. All Monetary Operations processes are strictly regulated and audited by Compliance, Internal/External audit, and Federal Regulators. Prior to the movement of any monetary transactions, we must guarantee that sufficient due diligence is completed.

Minimal requirements:

  • Excellent analytical, written, and vocal communication abilities are required.
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented in order to analyze and comprehend vast amounts of information, both financial and otherwise, from a variety of sources.
  • Must be capable of making decisions and providing recommendations in uncertain situations using intuitive and logical reasoning skills.
  • Must properly explain American Express issues while reassuring clients that they are appreciated. First Focus = Simple, Recognize, and Solve
  • Strong time management abilities are required, as well as the ability to operate under pressure and with minimum supervision while managing several projects effectively.

  • Good computer literacy, including a working grasp of current internet technology, the capacity to investigate material for commercial reasons, and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs are required.
