Position Description:

The financial analyst will participate in a number of financial planning activities, such as the creation of the annual operational budget and the multi-year financial plan, the planning of capital expenditures, and the evaluation of new programs.

Responsibilities:

  • To identify the performance drivers, conduct focused revenue and expense analysis.
  • Ad-hoc analysis, including process optimization and enhancement, as directed by finance management
  • Being in charge of the monthly financial closure and taking responsibility for assigned group or teams’ variance justifications
  • Manage massive collections of potentially private and sensitive data
  • Create financial performance analytics to assure precision and integrity.
  • Participate in FTE Reporting & Budget Preparation with Variance
  • Take part in the bill creation process.
  • Update forecasts on a quarterly and monthly basis with modeling assumptions.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably an undergraduate degree with an emphasis in finance or accounting.
  • Requires 2 to 4 years of expertise in the planning, accounting, or financial analysis fields.
  • Candidates with a Master’s degree can apply without having any experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and MS Excel, including if statements, vlookups, pivot tables, etc.
  • Preference should be given to financial data reporting and/or budget understanding.
  • knowledge of or aptitude for learning Strata, Infor, and other application systems.
  • Ability to interpret data into valuable information and to concisely present key conclusions and hypotheses to management for decision-making.
