You would be able to examine data and trends to comprehend company results as a Financial Analyst on the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) Florida Finance team. You would contribute significantly to innovative business models and activities that are intended to bolster shareholder value and directly improve guest experiences. To make a difference, you would collaborate extensively with partners, business executives, and operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Manager with planning throughout major business cycles, including financial deliverables to Disney Publishing Global teams, Annual Operating Plan, Long-Term Strategic Plan, Monthly Forecasts, and Monthly/Quarterly Close.
  • Support the administration of the inventory for the worldwide vertical businesses as well as all parts of the P&L, including sales, expenses, and managed operating income.
  • Ad-hoc benchmark reporting and in-depth research should be carried out to support business growth strategies.
  • Use a variety of software and platforms, such as SAP, Cognos, TM1, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Improve processes to increase efficiency, which includes regular updating, revision, and construction of financial models, templates, and planning processes.
  • Directly address a finance manager

Requirements:

  • Two years or more of relevant job experience in finance, planning, and analysis.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and deadline management were displayed.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, as well as previous knowledge of COGNOS and SAP, are preferred.
  • Strong communication abilities both in writing and speaking
  • Recognizing the drivers of the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow
  • The capacity to multitask, perform well under pressure, and prioritize tasks under duress.
  • Able to work independently and accept guidance and input from local and remote partners.
  • Ability to learn new programs and systems and to take initiative.
  • Be a team player and cultivate enduring connections between Finance teams.
