You will manage engineering at Protocol Labs.
- Increase the influence of various software engineering teams and open source contributors in the development of intricate, distributed systems and protocols.
- Through consistent 1:1 conversations, mentoring, useful feedback, work and peer alignment, and career advocacy, engineers can develop their knowledge, experience, and confidence.
- In order to increase open source community participation and work in sync with it, lead, enhance, and record procedures for technical priority, planning, design, implementation, and releases.
- Maintain open lines of communication with neighboring teams and stakeholders to create a shared understanding and to accommodate conflicting goals.
- Give engineers the tools they need to address issues while promoting a balance between speed and accuracy using scalable, asynchronous decision-making techniques.
- Maintain and develop a culture of development, openness, trust, rigor, humility, mutual support, and psychological safety within the team and community.
- Promote and improve PL’s dispersed, asynchronous, and autonomous working environment.
- Together with the PL recruiting team, take the initiative in finding outstanding engineers for your project.
- As a part of the developing engineering management discipline at Protocol Labs, assist and mentor other people managers.
