You will have the chance to help shape the creation of cutting-edge products that will influence MEV technology’s future as a Research Engineer at Flashbots. We are seeking a highly qualified and driven professional who can work well with both internal and external researchers and develop creative research ideas.
Responsibilities:
Together with the aforementioned outline, as the research engineer you will:
- Investigate, create, and construct innovative prototypes or goods
- Determine and address the immediate and long-term research issues that are essential to SUAVE’s success, such as developing cryptographic or cryptoeconomic pledges for solutions.
- Work with engineering and product teams to transform research ideas into solutions that are ready for production.
- Collaborate closely with researchers from both inside and outside the company to promote collaboration and take advantage of their knowledge to address challenging MEV-related issues.
- To effectively convey concepts and solutions to internal and external partners, create design documents, whitepapers, and presentations.
- Keep abreast of the most recent developments in blockchain technology to keep our solutions at the forefront of the market.
Requirements:
- 5 years or more of expertise designing and implementing software architecture for blockchain
- Knowledge of using Go or Rust to produce production-grade applications
- Strong understanding of blockchain solutions, architectural concepts, and infrastructure
- Knowledge of networked systems, applying cryptography, and developing smart contracts
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a distance context
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Lovely to Have
A track record of published works in applied cryptography, security, cryptoeconomics, MEV, blockchain, distributed systems, or related fields
prior involvement with open-source projects and community engagement
understanding of MEV-related ideas and advances
