Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a hands-on engineer (MLE or SWE) designing data-oriented products and/or ML systems/products is required.
  • 2+ years of experience managing end-to-end, production-level ML solutions or ML-adjacent Software Engineering teams.
  • Working knowledge of real-time, online, and/or high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to define requirements and ensure downstream clarity
  • Ability to develop and carry out hiring plans in order to satisfy roadmap deliverables and budgetary constraints
  • Ability to create and maintain repeatable procedures to streamline design documentation, roadmap planning, and overall goal tracking and achievement.
  • Capability to anticipate future technological barriers and assist in providing proven methods to avoid/mitigate them
  • Experience in “security” is not essential, however we welcome people who are interested in Fraud, Security, Safety, or other related fields. Backgrounds in Rank & Recommendation, Search, Ad Tech, and other areas are also common among the team members.
