Position Description:

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will work as part of a scrum team to develop essential features and functionalities for the aided servicing platform, which will be deployed in a private Kubernetes-based cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Using Java to implement user stories for distributed, scalable, high-performance systems (preferably Java 11 or later).
  • Debug software components and locate code flaws for correction.
  • Software deployment, support, and monitoring in test, integration, and production environments.
  • Work with peer technology and development teams from across the world.
  • Technical solutions should be documented.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience and/or comparable experience, such as:
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or similar experience is necessary, with a master’s degree desirable.
  • 4+ years of Java 8 or later experience is necessary.
  • Experience with at least one additional modern programming language, such as Node.js/JavaScript, Scala, Python, or GO, is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience developing highly scalable systems is essential, as is dedication to backend applications using a variety of technologies, with specific competence in Enterprise Java (including sophisticated design patterns and common libraries) and cloud native technologies.
  • Intermediate technical capabilities in microservices, APIs, distributed messaging, and cloud computing are required.
  • Basic experience with relational databases, including the ability to write and debug complex queries, is necessary.
