Requirements:
- BS as well as ten or more years of experience in the field.
- Knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS and experience in custom RF/analog layout for radio transceivers (FinFet experience is a necessity)
- Competent in high frequency routing, RF shielding, parasitic minimization, and device matching layout approaches.
- Solid knowledge of coupling, electromigration, and RC delay.
- Knowledge of DNW, PN junctions, guard rings, and advanced process effects like LOD, WPE, etc.
- High level skill in CALIBRE DRC, ERC, LVS, and other FinFet Technology interpretation.
- Understanding of the CADENCE layout tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams from various fields.
- Being able to guide other layout engineers toward comprehensive integration.
- The capacity to identify circuit and layout structures that are prone to failure and to work proactively with circuit designers to find the best solution to issues.
- Perl or Skill scripting abilities are a benefit but are not necessary.
- BS in business administration and at least 10 years of experience in a related field
Responsibilities:
As a vital member of a small RFIC team, you will be responsible for doing research, designing, and putting the newest wireless technologies into high-volume manufacturing at advanced CMOS technology nodes.
- Detailed transistor-level layout of RF and analog circuit blocks, such as LNA, mixers, PLL, LO generation, modulators, power amplifiers, ADC/DAC, baseband filters, and bandgap/bias/LDO, are among the responsibilities.
- Block level and top-level layout using a full verification sequence, which includes extraction, DRC, LVS, and DFM checking.
- Collaborate on block- and top-level floorplanning with designers.
- A overview of the layout for signal coupling, electromigration, differential and IQ matching, and signal migration.
- Integration and verification of the overall layout, as well as timetable management.
