Job Description:

Find and choose donated goods for online sales; carefully check each item to ascertain its manufacturer, condition, and other relevant factors; snap clear, appropriate pictures; and write succinct, enticing, and accurate descriptions of the items to be listed in order to maximize Goodwill sales and profit margins. Correctly ship things and keep up the current inventory system.

Listing

• Put arriving goods in the right stations.
• Examine things visually, grouping them according to categories as you go, and then assess each for acceptability.
• For online postings, provide each item a thorough and accurate description.
• For as professional an advertising as feasible, take a picture of every item.
• Use the right key word descriptors while posting products for sale.
• Answer as directed to consumer questions regarding listings.
• Daily clean the work space and keep it free of risks.

Control over inventory

• Use the current software to allocate listed items to the appropriate storage area.
• Get sold items out of the daily manifest so they can be sent.
• Move pulled products to the shipment area.
• Daily pull purgeable items from the report and look for appropriate disposal.
• Audit the listed items once a week.
• Notify the E-Commerce Manager of any disparities in inventory.
• From the moment an item is received into E-Commerce until it is shipped out, make sure the right flow of the product is followed.
• Keeping the work environment and surrounds safe and clean.

FREIGHT

• In charge of managing and shipping duties.
• Get every item out of Inventory Control ready for delivery.
• Tracks available supplies for shipping requirements and sends the e-commerce manager a request for resupply. When they arrive, puts away everything.
• Orders are carefully assembled and packed for shipping to guarantee that the right packing techniques are used to avoid breakage.
• uses the most recent shipping software to determine the most economical shipping price for every item.
• labels and gets the cargo manifest ready for carrier pickup.
