For Delta’s digital platforms, the Digital UI Designer job is in charge of developing digital experiences that are visually appealing, simple to use, and user-centric. They will be in charge of comprehending user requirements, developing interactive components, and producing unified and captivating visual designs that are consistent with our brand identity and digital design system.
Responsibilities:
- Across all of Delta’s digital channels, implement creative and appealing user interface and interaction design experiences.
- Participate in the development and upkeep of the digital design system at Delta.
- Ensure brand guidelines are followed consistently in all digital assets and campaigns.
- Work closely and collaboratively with teams of product managers, UX designers, and user researchers to develop user interfaces that are simple to use and support Delta’s digital business goals.
- In order to ensure design viability, work with developers to supply the assets and specifications required for implementation.
Requirements:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)
- Digital design experience dating back at least two years.
- Strong digital design work samples that show a thorough comprehension of design concepts and best practices.
- Knowledge about design systems.
- Knowledge of Figma, the Adobe Creative Cloud, and prototyping tools.
- Knowing how to apply the user research and testing approaches in the design process.
- Solid grounding in photography, typography, layout, and design optimization, among other facets of digital design.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which are web development technologies.
- Knowledge of mobile-first design principles and responsive design.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Consistently puts the security and safety of oneself, others, and personal information first.
- Embraces varied people, ideas, and ways of doing things.
- Holds a high school diploma, GED, or other equivalent qualification.
- Possesses legal permission to work in the US and is at least 18 years old.
WHAT (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE
- Degree in design, human-computer interface, or comparable field.
- Knowledge of user experience and digital accessibility design best practices.
- Experience in retail and online commerce design is highly preferred.
