We are looking to add a DevOps Engineer to our group! In addition to managing our operations and using the newest technologies available in our cloud tenancies, you will create and build solutions to challenging application and integration problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Practical experience deploying cloud platforms on AWS and Azure.
  • Participate fully in customer ceremonies and events (Kanban/Scrum).
  • Come up with innovative solutions for DevOps issues while working with the customer’s operations, development, and quality assurance teams.
  • Keep a sense of humor and a “can-do” attitude.
  • In order to help our clients and teams function more efficiently, we must pay attention to their needs and challenges.
  • Create and record CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build and document infrastructure using code.
  • Create and plan containers for deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Record decisions on process flow, best practices, and technology selections.
  • Throughout multi-platform environments, automate builds and deployments.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in version control system administration (SVN, Git, etc.).
  • Proficiency in overseeing continuous integration platforms, such as Jenkins, Hudson, etc.
  • Familiarity with deployment and configuration management systems that are automated (Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, etc.).
  • knowledge of writing code for infrastructure (e.g. Terraform).
  • strong background using cloud-native software.
  • functioning in the background on multiple platforms (Linux, Windows).
  • Strongly preferred is prior experience with builds and packaging in a Linux/Java environment (Maven, rpm, etc.).
  • working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and experience with an organized change management procedure.
  • wide expertise with scripting and programming (e.g., Python, Ruby, GO, etc.).
  • Proficiency in developing and overseeing virtual development environments, such as Vagrant, is advantageous.
  • familiarity with scheduling and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
