Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the developer experience on Arbitrum by proactively identifying problems and potential fixes that encourage developer adoption, including protocol-level modifications, third-party infrastructure requirements, our documentation, tooling, and supporting assets.
  • Promote Arbitrum and cultivate partnerships with developers and allied organizations (accelerators, dev shops, hackathon organizers, etc.) to increase developer knowledge of Arbitrum in the developer ecosystem (covering web2 and web3).
  • Create systematic, scalable global programs that promote developer community interaction and growth, assisting new and seasoned developers with the deployment of smart contracts, project migration, and application optimization.
  • Engage in developer education and onboarding events, such as live coding sessions, conference speaking engagements, online meetups, and hackathons. Work with our events team to identify and attend important events.
  • Help our engineers create tutorials, demos, and other reference materials by working side by side with them.
  • Help to build the go-to-market strategy of new Products, especially for the developer audience, by working closely with the Product team to foster growth in the Arbitrum ecosystem. This may involve everything from translating patterns seen in the ecosystem into priority development work.

Requirements:

  • You are passionate about and knowledgeable about blockchain technologies.
  • CS basics that are proficient, either through a formal university curriculum or from self-learning
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position or on a team that manages developer relations; promoting developer products and encouraging interaction; preferred: knowledge of the blockchain sector.
  • It is necessary to have prior experience delivering technical presentations, either through employment or other activities.
  • It’s nice to have prior experience developing Go and/or Solidity code.
  • It’s useful to have prior experience creating and implementing smart contracts in EVM environments.
  • Ability to break down and clearly explain difficult concepts
  • You have strong communication abilities both in writing and speaking.
  • ability to collaborate with internal and external partners that has been proven
  • It would be nice to have, but not necessary, experience working for a startup or high-growth technology company.
