Position Description:
The Global Learning and Development team at US Bank is looking for new members! The team is seeking an Instructional Designer to assist in the development of enterprise-wide learning materials and program content for Leadership, Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI), and Human Resources (HR). The issues are profound and nuanced, necessitating diplomacy and subtlety. You will generate a range of content in this capacity, such as learning modules, one-page instructions, PowerPoint slides, and short movies. The team need a skilled creative expert to create meaningful content that adheres to brand requirements and policies. Qualifications Fundamentals
- A bachelor’s degree or similar work experience is required.
- At least four years of related experience
Desired Skills/Experience
- Comprehensive understanding of adult learning concepts, practices, and learning sciences, with a focus on eLearning, curriculum creation, multi-media development, and learning technologies.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines
- Technological abilities such as Articulate Suite (Storyline and Rise), Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint and Word), Camtasia, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- In-depth understanding of instructional design and principles
- The ability to assess the success of training curriculum, materials, and programs in relation to business objectives. – Expert level writing, editing, and grammatical expertise.
