Responsibilities:

In this role, a few of the Primary Responsibilities are as follows:

• Examining, analyzing, and putting into practice PCB design trends and procedures that are relevant to Apple’s key technologies.
• Evaluating the PCB design goals for packaging, cost, manufacturing, and system performance by conducting design feasibility studies.
• Helping other PCB designers to solve difficult design issues.
• PCB designers receive training in particular PCB design fields.
• Putting PCB design trade-offs forward for resolution and implementation to the engineering design team.
• Performing challenging CAD and CAE tasks that call for substantial skill and knowledge of the capabilities of the equipment, application approaches, and design constraints.
• Understanding the manufacturing and testing design criteria for Apple. Before releasing the product to manufacturing, the designer attempts to meet the requirements for a high-quality design. Recognizing the key PCB technology and manufacturing trends and how to apply them to Apple’s designs.
• Maintaining technical communication between manufacturing, engineering, test, and EMC engineering. working with fabrication and manufacturing vendors to solve PCB design problems. actively taking part in the definition and development of Apple’s Design For Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
• Participating in the development of PCB design specifications and standards and making recommendations with regard to product design, electrical design, manufacturing, and various regulatory agency requirements in order to identify design trade-offs required to achieve design objectives and produce high-quality PCBs at the lowest cost and within the specified time frame.

Requirements:

• Experience designing PCBs for at least two years Knowledge of Allegro software tools
